Brookside Public School is a Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8 school located in Ashfield Township near Lake Huron in Ontario. We have a student population of 310 students. Our student population comes to us from the areas surrounding Lucknow, Dungannon, Nile, Auburn, Port Albert and Kingsbridge.
Brookside is the true definition of a community school. We have an active school council and a community that supports us without hesitation. Many of our students have parents and grandparents who are proud past Brookside Bulldogs! At Brookside we pride ourselves in providing students with diverse learning experiences that address their academic, social and emotional needs. Our focus continues to be student academic achievement and well being.
Staff and students work together at Brookside to extend student learning beyond the classroom. Many opportunities exist for student leadership and engagement, whether it be supporting our younger students, intramural sports and activities, leadership team, and robotics and coding groups. Many of these are student initiated, and along with our dedicated and caring staff we are providing opportunities for growth and learning in many different areas.
